Fractured Winterglass Summoning Conjurations

I’ve been using a 46% chance to summon conjuration since release date. This entire time I consistently have to cast 10+ frozen orbs to get a single conjuration proc. If this happened occasionally that’s believable even with a 46% chance, but it’s been happening every dungeon, every pit, every boss, everything every day. Most boss fights 10+ cast into the boss I only have 1-2 conjurations out and I manually summoned both of them myself.

It wouldn’t just be a 46% on every spell cast. Since you are using Frozen Orb, you have to consider the lucky hit of that skill, which is 6%. Those numbers multiply with each other to create the total true chance of proc for the cast.

Blizzard did this so that certain spells that are really high AOE, rapid fire, or easily spamable, would not trigger procs excessively. Try teleporting on mobs which has over 100% lucky hit chance with other item effects and you will notice that it has a higher chance to proc that lucky hit effect. But since the fractured winterglass only works with Frozen Orb, and then reverse proc with conjurations, you don’t have much choice in the matter. All the conjurations also have really low lucky hit, minus maybe the ice blades with is so-so.

But, on top of that, I feel like there is an issue with the conjurations with some inherit limit. I don’t think I’ve ever seen more than 6 ice blades out at a time, and hydras definitely doesn’t go past 4 (if you hard cast 2), which really suck. Since its all low % to proc anyway, I feel like Blizzard needs to straight up remove the limit because we are limited but cast speed anyways.

If we have a cast speed/mana limit, what’s the point of imposing conjuration limits?

The amulet is not a lucky hit proc, it’s just a straight up 46% chance.
