The droprate for forgotten souls is miserable, I just got 2 pieces in 30 min?
But have only opened the 75 crates and made events?
Am I doing something wrong?

What difficulty are you running Helltides in? I felt it was pretty dismal at first as well until I got into World Tier 4. In my last run (about 45 mins) I received about 20 Forgotten Souls.
Also, keep an eye out for Screaming Veins. I found they drop 2-3 in World Tier 4 difficulty every time.
Absolute TERRIBLE drop rate for a limited time - low density - crappy event.
You need FAR too many souls post 80 just to get a single piece of decent gear and the grind is cringe worthy… Nothing else worth while in the entire event cause the drop rate on chests is crap compared to time spent in dungeons.
Literally spending an hour LOOKING for mobs and events just to blow the 15ish you might get in 30 seconds.
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD increase souls drop rate and add them to something besides Helltide.
Yes, collecting the forgotten souls is annoying, I also do the event just because of the souls…

Maybe I have an unpopular opinion, but I enjoy farming Helltide. I farm it on world tier 4 and I don’t remember the last time I ran out of souls.
I will say this however, I wish mob density / respawn would be higher. I’d like a little more chaos in my Helltide.
I actually like the fact you have to farm them in a specific manner, but yes the drop rate is a bit iffy in wt3
Helltides should be back to back, let them change zones, however they should not have a gap in between, this would fix the problem entirely. I was severly concerned about timed events like this being a problem, the world bosses don’t seem to be an issue as I appear to get prism’s from other areas however forgotten souls are ONLY found in Helltides. This will be the No 1 reason that people stop playing the game.

I no longer have problems finding them on WT4, but it sucks to farm this zone because it’s just boring and not worth it.
