Fixed [GPU Not supported] error after update. but now I have really laggy FPS

I have a Nvidia GTX 1650 graphics card that I just updated this morning (version 536.40).

Updating my driver this didn’t fix the issue until I disabled my integrated graphics in the device manager.

This did fixed the error from appearing but now my FPS is like 6-8 now and I tried changing my graphics setting from D4 in game settings but nothing works need help.

I am also having this same issue. I have the GTX 1060 version 536.40. The integrated card keeps getting picked and when I disable it to only use the NVIDIA card the frames drop to 5-6FPS. I have tried everything at this point. I made the NVIDIA card the main GPU. I tried to force Windows 10 to use NVIDIA on Diablo IV, and the card control panel as well to do the same but nothing. This game was working perfectly until this last update. I even uninstalled everything NVIDIA and put all back in to only have the same issue. I did the same thing for Diablo, but it still fails to launch saying the GPU is not supported. Please help!!!

I figured it out! In the Documents-- Diablo IV folder there is the LocalPrefs.txt. Open it and locate adaptars “0” and change it to adaptars “1” it fixed everything for the gpu.

Yeah, that has been fixing some of these issues. Surprised you didn’t see it on one of the other threads. Glad you got it working!
