I hear ya, friend. D4 Season 9 is more laggy and buggy this season compared to all other seasons of Diablo 4, unfortunately. The game is still a broken, buggy, repetitive, grindy beta game that still needs to be fixed and improved, and after 2 years it is long overdue for sure!

With that said, Here are 5 Tips and Suggestions to D4 Players experiencing laggy issues etc. in D4 Season 9 - for PC Players using Windows 10 or 11 only:

  1. Make sure to turn off all unused background Apps before starting Diablo 4.
  2. Make sure your video card driver and OS are up to date.
  3. Perform a simple Disk Clean via Administrator at least once a week.
  4. Backup your data and do a simple System Restore point once a week via About section of your PC Windows 10 or 11 settings.
  5. Do a simple refresh of your DNS Cache via Admin command at least once a day - it always helps to keep your connection optimized and overall better. Even Blizzard recommends it.
    Simply open CMD - Command Prompt in Windows 10 or 11 - as Administrator and when opened enter the following: ipconfig/flushdns
    then press enter and done! It will give you a message saying: Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache. * Do this once a day to keep your online connections fresh and better overall, and before playing Diablo 4.

I hope that helps, friend. Let’s hope Blizzard eventually fixes and improves Diablo 4 as they been promising for the past 2 years, sooner than later! - JJ -

They sure can jump on fixing anything that expedites game play like bugs but if an issue helps promote more time in game…

They love it and will not address the issue.

It seems to be mostly an issue with Ultra textures and also cross-play. Turning those two things down/off helped me.
