Fix The F....ng Mobs. They Are ANNOYING

It’s not fun having to fight mobs that is programmed to run away from you. Every single ranged mob just keeps on backing out from your attacks and you chase after this single unit away from the actual mob. (The only mob there is in a 50 meter radius). And if you leave any form of said ranged unit, they just insta kill you with one projectile.

Skeleton Balista just kills you off screen.
Succubus projectiles just follows you around the map.
Ghost projectiles never miss.

It’s all just annoyance.

You know what is more annoying?? Wave events where you have to kill waves and it spawns 4 Ranged enemies, each one backing as far as they can into a corner and you can’t even kill them because the Resource Management in this game is so high, one skill and you are recourse dry and have to wait to cast a ability again…by the time you killed all 4 ranged units, your time is almost up for the event.

Seriously. Just remove every single range unit from the game until you fixed them because right now they are just adding onto the list of annoyance that we hate about this game.

And then just increase the mob density in general about 800% because I spend more time running around looking for things to kill. People out here complaining about drop rates and Uniques, meanwhile I am out here trying to enjoy the Core Game of Diablo which is destroying Mobs that don’t even exist.

Sounds like you need some mobility skills in your build.

I have more than enough Mobility. That is not the issue.

Brings back memories of playing the D1 warrior and having to chase a succubus all the way across the dungeon until she gets stuck somewhere.

Skill issue. These nobs are functioning perfectly and are much more fun to fight because of all the things you mentioned.

The mobs don’t need to be changed. What you need is an even easier easy mode.

It is annoying but it’s much better that way

The alternative is just every mob be a Zombie reskinned, which is kinda already too much I’d say

The only really and truly broken/annoying opponent to me are ironically zombies, i.e. the bloated corpses that charge and even with minimal acceleration and having tons of slows on them when hit they hit like a truck :thinking:

You should read how game is developed… Good ideas keep getting shotdown so many decisions made against many developers’ opinions because some dev leader decided his/her idea was better… too bad there is little competition in this genre this is like the best we can get for now it’s sad

This is a problem(s) across the board for certain people. Apparently, especially in WT4, it is very possible to get stun locked, frozen, immobilized, etc. repeatedly by mobs and it is enough to die repeatedly.

Similarly, there is a complaint that mob density is lacking in general. One person complained that the only time they saw a mob in a general area, someone else killed it. I am not sure exactly what is going on but it is an widespread problem.

My guy, if you think “fun” is chasing a mob programmed to run away from you … then you must be really fun at Parties.

Especially if you tell me being killed off screen is “fun”.

Um you are bad at that game.

Play rogue, shadow step and dash kill those mobs in milliseconds

Game is bloated with monsters already, the reason why they ask for more mobs is totally selfish and bad which is faster XP gain

There are like at least 6-7 abilities in game that are designed for low mob densities, they’re just reducing build variety with egotistical projections for faster lvl gain

Also for those that thing there aren’t enough elites should try fight 3 frost imbued elites at once, perhaps will change their mind

Skeleton Balist past NM60+ makes me want to uninstall this game EVERY DAY. My husband plays that bugged druid build with permanent shield and always make fun of me :frowning:

And the funny part is that mob never misses my mage, and only my mage. With my rogue it always misses the first shot, but with mage… god… anyway, I don’t wanna curse in this forum haha

The problem is there is no rush to this game. It’s all slow. You spend most your time running from point A to B with too little inbetween.

You know what is fun?? Thos Golden Cursed Chests you get in a Dungeon that just spawns waves and waves and waves of enemies constantly at you. The “not so fun part” is that the event is broken. Kill too many mobs and the Chest just stays locked. Never opens up.

Honestly I have the most fun when there are 3-5 with Inner Sight + TB :slight_smile: , sadly there aren’t many places where there are like 5 elites and nothing else

Same/similar with Barb when having Kick and Charge, though I’d imagine having a few trash mobs to put in Execute in there would be fun as well… :thinking:

Look, I am not attacking you. But in D3 if I open up a GR or a Rift I am SURROUNDED by mobs.

In this game I run more than I kill mobs. And if you do find a mob they are not even worthy of killing at all. Too small.

Having to sacrafice my stats and skills for Mobility JUST to reach mobs faster is an issue that should speak for itself. Why should I increase my Mobiity stats and sacrafice skills for mobility to make up for the lack of in between no mobs to keep the “rush” going?

And then spend a whole day complaining CC, CC train, e.t.c.

Look, I get it, people want their builds to be “meatgrinders” but really have to drop that mentality and let other things breathe, it’s really old and bad and makes people base the game with expectations that are hard to balance and bad

But the game as it is, is not balanced at all right now.

People are nagging about drop rates … instead of increasing drop rates, leave it as is and increase mob density. More mobs, more chances of drops.

Hell Tide is the same. You kill 10+ enemies in a mob if you’re lucky to find such mobs and only get 1 Cinder from that? Really?? Do you know how displeasing that is??

It’s like the game just keeps on adding to annoyance rather than making it fun.

I’ll reimburse you for your copy of the game for video proof of you only getting 1 cinder from a group of 10+ in helltide.
