This anniversary event has made my build nearly unplayable. I already have to hamper myself by NOT using potions and incense due to the limited 8 visual spots for buffs above your bars.
This event added 2 new buffs that appear, Mother’s Blessing and March of the Goblins.
At any time, in combat, I’ll usually have these active buffs now (if i include consumables):
Mother’s Blessing (event)
March of the Goblins (event)
Ursine Strength
Might
Quickshift
Tempest
Iron Fur
Fevered Mauling
Heightened Senses
Provocation
Elixir of Fortitude II (or any other potion)
Elixir of Antivenin
Chorus of War (or any other incense)
Party Exp buff (depends if playing with others)
Provocation
That’s 15 buffs, and I can only see 8 of them.
I NEED to track Provocation as it makes the next hit after 16 seconds of bear form to guarantee overpower. (this is not continuous, you can freely shift in and out to pause/continue stacking.)
With 15 buffs I NEED to wait for at least 7 of them to fall off before being able to see it on my buff bar, which means I need to severely hamper my damage and survivability by not attacking and waiting for my buffs to fall off just to be able to see it.
This 8 buff limit is extremely egregious and needs to be increased or at least move stacking buffs you need to monitor like Provocation to a buff slot where you can actually see it.
I can’t even open my menu in combat and check my character sheet buffs instead because it doesn’t show the stacks there.
This issue is exasperated even more if you’re playing with other classes that can buff you.
Diablo 3 fixed this issue and you can see a bunch of buffs on your bars, so why are we regressing?
To further add to that, having any debuffs on your character (including needing to repair) will block the stack counter of the 8th buff on your bar.
