So after one of my friends spent nearly 12 hours in the infinite quest we found a fix.

It seems that your account gets stuck in a (half logged in/Half trying to login state)

What did to fix this: I logged into my friends account (xbox) on my console (playstation) literally that’s it fixed the issue immediately. I logged out of his account and he logged back in on his xbox everything working fine after that.

Solution(for now)
Have your account log into the beta from a different hardware address doesn’t have to be cross platform. Could just be another xbox(machine). I believe Blizzard could fix this with a hard log out of all accounts but I am not a specialist so not sure exactly what is causing the issue nor the technicals to correctly fix it.

very glad this worked with xbox, absolutely didn’t work with my ps5, though.
i had to cross platforms to get ps5 specifically to fix, which required another beta key for me.

Wow. Im sorry to hear that. For PS5 we used the D4 ps4 beta launcher to fix it.

that thought crossed my mind and i honestly didn’t trust it for some reason. a very good solution, though!

Damn. Not only do I not have a Playstation 5, I don’t wanna buy another game to play a beta.
