Hi! Besides not always pulling enemies to you, there is a small recoil time after you use it, when you can’t do anything, like a mini stun. Would be nice to be able to smash the monsters right after I drag them to me, thanks!
This is probably the biggest gripe I have with the skill.

Used it and basically stunned myself after bringing stuff in, the ending animation makes the skill feel awful to use.
It’s odd that Steel Grasp and Charge (both of which were good for “grabbing” enemy groups in the beta) now suck. Given that there are no patch notes related to these skills, it’s either a bug or the devs screwed around with them just prior to release.
I agree. I actually dropped steal grasp out of my rotation. It sometimes pulled stuff in perfectly and other times it was ‘Screw you and your wannabe scorpion hook. I’m staying RIGHT here’ while they make rude gestures at me.
Love it when it works though.
It feels like it has glancing blows that only stagger enemies if your hooks don’t go directly through the center of the model.
While I get there are probably people who can use this with no issue, it makes it feel awful to use for people who aren’t as great at it, plus the whole ending animation just compiles that feeling. If it’s a PvP thing, I’d just leave the glancing blow effect in on players but make it always pull in anything it touches on mobs.
The pull mechanic doesnt work always and the mini stun after not only feels terrible but also kills you often times.
It works less that 50% of the time for me. I don’t expect it to work on bosses and “all” elites but, it’s not fun when the trash mobs just look at you funny after hitting them with it.
The stun afterwards is just terrible especially, in group play. When it finally works I don’t even get a chance to smash the mobs. My friends kills them before I can swing half the time because of the stun/animation lock. =/
