I think Firewall should innately get the 3 seconds of extra burn damage after an enemy leaves the AOE and instead that skill should prevent some % of physical ranged attacks from penetrating it.
This would give the firewall sorc some additional utility and skill-based play.
The firewall should also be a click and drag skill so you can position it better

i like that idea, i changed to the mana perk for it.
But since i just saw another patch without any mention of the broken sorcerer state. My mage gonna stay on the bench
I leveled to 100 with firewall sorc, but by level 80 I was so tired of it I just wanted to get it over with. I think sorc needs a lot more utility built into its skills along with a general damage buff to most of it’s skills
having skills and passive working would be a start.
its just depressing seing rogues on your level doing like 3 times your dmg. that class needs to be gutted hard
I think that the whole game mechanic of burning should be revised. A burning enemy should definitely get damage over time, but the damage should keep increasing the more often he is hit by the fire source.
As an example, I would apply x damage per second to the firewall. If the opponent stays in the fire, the damage would have to be x times the number of seconds he stands in there as damage per second.
For example, if the firewall has 1000 damage per second, an enemy standing in it for 5 seconds should get 5000 damage per second.

Well… we partially got this with the new aspect, but only one wall evey 3-6 casts (i forget the current mana cost)
