Firestarter, Jolting and Winter Touch aspects don’t synergize with other skills or enchantments. All of those aspects state, that they are “treated as a Pyromancy/Shock/Frost Skill”
Based on this, for example, the Jolting aspect should trigger the Fire Bolt or Frost Bolt enchantments, as it’s a skill applying direct damage
Another example, although a possibly unclear one, would be the new Enlightenment key passive skill, which states that “casting any Skill grants 1 stack of Enlightenment, or 15 stacks if your previous cast Skill was a different Element”
Regarding the aspects stating “[…] treated as a Pyromancy/Shock/Frost Skill”, what does this actually mean in the end? As it’s specifically stated, it seems there was some reason to do so, which a) either doesn’t work out as intended or b) is really unclear…

To add to above observations, the Jolting aspect is able to trigger the Stable aspect. It can also trigger the Coursing Currents passive skill, indicated by the passive skill’s buff counter going up, although it never seems to actually critically strike on its own
This shows, that it’s actually considered a Shock skill for certain synergies, but (unexplainably) not for all. Does this mean, that the aspect really just “zaps” enemies for damage instead of “dealing” damage to them…?! That would seem really picky
