I just cancel the quest and taking it back, when u are in the area, go on foot and not on your horse, it worked for me… GL hf all

tried to redo the quest but the waterfall dungeon won’t show up. 
Did you be sure to enter the area while unmounted?

Just did that quest, worked fine for me.
Quest is bugged my side, abandoned the quest and retried the entire quest without mounting and still nothing.
It seems you have to go out the southern entrance of the town otherwise the cave doesn’t open.

This “procedure” worked for me:
Abandon quest > Change World Tier to Adv and back to Vet > Got quest back and used the South exit (the one on the left) as you mentioned and it everything went fine.

She’s probably dead. And if she isn’t dead, she’s going to be eventually, and it’ll be your fault because you progressed the story. Way to go. You killed Aneta.
It’s still bugged. Spent over 30 mins searching and nothing
This option worked for me, just need to enter the area unmounted.
I just cancelled the quest and it started me from the beginning lol
