Finally got The Grandfather - new build!

After many runs, it finally dropped! Now I have all the uber uniques.

I’ve been working on an Immortal Lunging Strike build, and here is the first glimpse at the unbuffed stats (in town) with the final piece of gear:

  • 80,460 Attack Power

  • 10,057 Armor

  • 20,192 Life

  • 70 All Resists

  • 29% attack speed

  • 42% crit chance

  • 1,128% crit damage

  • 150% vulnerable damage

  • 774% all damage

  • 111% physical

  • 286.5% basic

  • 32% vs elites

  • 327% DwB

  • 260 Fury

  • 90-110k flat

  • 114-144k flat on phys cycle

Looks like you need to squeeze some attack speed in there somehow.

Questions:

  1. Roughly, how many attempts did you make before getting GF?
  2. Roughly, how many attempt did you make to collect all Uber?
  3. How many duplicate Ubers?
  4. Are you still using Tibault, Red Furor and Banished with this stats?
  5. What was yor attack power right before getting a GF?

  • GF was the last one
  • 3x Starless, 3x Andy’s, 3x Selig, 1x Shako, 1x Doombringer all before GF
  • this is not the stats for my HotA, this is a new build I made
  • my attack power is just over 45k without GF on this guy

You had me at 1000.
That is actually 250 with 4 men rotation.
Still, 250 is way too many for mat collecting.
I guess I will never get GF.

Most get multiple GF before any others. I just had bad luck.

I have Shako, Andy’s, Ahavarion and Starless. I am only using Shako and Ahavarion.
Statistically speaking, if I am lucky enough to get another Uber, it will be most likely a duplicate, which is very unfortunate.
Combine with the number that you have provided, it is counter intuitive to continue with Duriel.

It’s all random, brother. I got 4 different ones before I got a repeat. Then, the other day, I got 2 Seligs pretty close together before finally dropping Doombringer. 3 in a day.

All totally random. It took Rob 5k runs to get a Selig - I got 3 of them before I got Doombringer or Grandfather. It was my second uber unique.

From most of the stats for uber I’ve seen, the last two are the hardest to get after getting the other uber. I don’t think we have a case of someone getting one different uber unique right after the other. Funny how no one is bragging about it also.

Seems about right. I got 4 different ones in a row before the repeats.

Stacking it properly. I had 370+ at one point. Grandpappy reduces it.

I just noticed I have like 290 DwB without even really trying as I was mostly concerned with OP. I mean I was going for it but wasn’t maxrolling it or anything.

With Ramaladni’s, you’re able to get 390-ish. 410-ish is max without it, if you have 2 rare rings and a rare hat/Joritz.
