anyone else feel like when a big boss comes down in helltide, world bosses or the butcher; fighting it is a waste of time?
you get excited to finally get to fight the butcher again and after a couple of minutes fighting it, you see 1 rare item and some gold. =S
Yep. Killed the butcher several times already and I wish he would just go away. Now I just let him kill me. Its a lot faster if your goal is just to complete the dungeon (which it is for me because these things are time consuming. Game feels like a walking simulator at times)
Butcher isn’t too bad IF you’ve got a good build but I agree that he isn’t really worth the time. Maybe if he was guaranteed to drop a legendary.
Came across him three times now. Once in WT2 and WT3 SC, and then one more time in WT3 HC. It’s a charge when he pops up, but I’m to the point where my character just stands there hammering away. Just a sponge to me, like every other boss.
I kill him in about 10 seconds now so nope. He drops a few legendaries and sometimes things like mount bling

Does The Butcher spawn in the Helltide?
Honest question, I thought it was only spawning at dungeons.
Butchers current loot pool makes him tedious and dissapointing.
In the pre-release 4 days, he was a fun surprise encounter, with decent loot.
Now, it is just annoying, knowing that his sole purpose is to be a pointless speedbump.
have not encountered him in helltide yet but the helltide bosses also drop nothing
Yeah, that’s also true.
I believe they released an unfinished game on purpose in order to add stuff in the seasons and expansions. currently there ain’t enough unique items to make any other builds viable but i believe in a few years when the game is actually done, it’ll be better just like D3.
Butcher has never not given me at least one legendary.
One time he gave me TWO uniques.
The last two times I fought him, he did not drop a single legendary. I’m jealous!
Coudnt agree more. Most of the times ill go back to city and teleport again to the dungeon cause the loot dont deserve a 10 minute fight
I got the butcher mount barding from him so I am actually very happy with the drops
