Feels like a mobile game. Refund denied

Apparently I’ve played it for too long to get a refund.
I guess they counted the que time.
The open world with other players running around is obnoxious.
The combat and skill/talent/gear system is basic and restrictive.
Does not feel like a diablo game.
basic mmo quest in a diablo game is sacrilegious.

They sold me a diablo game , gave me a generic mobile mmo , now i cant get my $$ back.

Your credit card offers refunds via chargebacks.

don’t chargeback through your CC unless you want your Battle.net account banned. Some trolls will try to trick you into that.

Do a chargeback and start a new account - duhhh.

Gonna disagree with this one. Aesthetically and thematically, this feels much closer to Diablo 1 and 2 than the last two Diablo games we got.

Do you mean “hello, I need you to do X for me, and in exchange I will give you Y” yeah?

So… in Diablo 1 when Adria asks you to gather a mushroom for her? Or going into the sewers for Atma to kill a specific creature in D2? Like, the quests in D4 seem to be pretty similar to what we’ve had before.

It’s more complex than D3 and D2 and (obviously) D1. So not sure how it’s less than what you’ve come to expect from a Diablo game.

You’re just here to complain. Everything you complained about has been known after two betas and lots of articles. If you still bought and played the game after that, then lol you don’t deserve to get your money back. Sorry you had a bad time.

It looks like you are playing another game than I am.
Been with blizzard a long time.
You don’t need to defend them.
They have gotten a lot of $ out of me in the past and will in the future.

The itemization is way worse than D2 alone. The only thing that is similar to D1/D2 is the tone/dark graphics. The OP isn’t wrong when he says D4 is like a mobile mmo.

I’m less defending them and more making fun of you for knowing you weren’t going to enjoy a game and spending $70 on it anyway and pretending to be shocked.

Ah yes. The pinnacle of itemization, which included a handful of items that were BiS for multiple builds across multiple classes, included amazing perks such as “improved light radius,” and a charm system that meant you had to fill your entire inventory with +1 skill charms to be optimal. Top tier item system.

Ah yes. Tri res boots, rare circlets, rare amulets, crafted java gloves or cb+ow melee gloves etc all say hello. D2 had its faults but the items were exciting. The itemization in D4 feels awful. That’s why a lot of the stats are pretty awful and you mainly just look for a green arrow+a legendary power that you want.

lmao you can’t be serious if you think this plays like a mobile game, explain how. have you done anything in wt3? anything in wt4? any pvp?

My homie playing mobile games from the future, you love to see it!

Is your complaint that there aren’t enough properties that are valuable? Because boy oh boy do I have some news for you about Diablo 2.

I want you to elaborate on this. There was pretty much never a reason to look at properties in D2. You either needed a BiS unique/set item (which mostly had static properties), or a socketed item for runewords (which also mostly had static properties). Elaborate the faults that D4 suffers from that D2 did NOT suffer from.

A legendary power that you then apply to a rare item with different properties based on your build, which you couldn’t do in D2.

There was never a point to looking at stats on items? What are you smoking? Lol. Fcr/ias/res/fhr/+skills/-enemy res were all reasons to look at items. Hell, even some magic items were BiS for certain builds. 30frw/3os tiara for example.

It’s the legendary power that matters the most though. My brother was literally using a level 15 pulverize ring in his 50s because the power was so op. It’s D3 itemization all over again.

Was talking about BiS. Not sure if you missed that or if you’re being purposefully ignorant. You’re not going to check an oculus to see if it has fcr because it always does. If you have that, you’re never going to look at another rare orb for your sorc that drops.

Also… You pretty much look for all those values in Diablo 4 each time you pick up a rare. So… once again, explain how that’s different between the games.

Sounds like your brother is an idiot because he could have extracted the pulverize aspect and put it on a ring that would have had better stats for his build, because a ring at 15 is going to have a smaller range in its properties than a ring that drops at 50.

Edit: I also don’t see how your incorrect characterization of D4 itemization is any different from snagging a BiS unique/runeword.

Except it’s not. If you genuinely believe that, you haven’t spent any time in the game or you’re just being ignorant… again. Aspects are game changers, but if you aren’t selecting for specific properties in your rares then you may as well be running around with white items.

I don’t know what game you’re playing, but it ain’t D4… but if you bought it more than 14-days ago… get rekt?

Tbh i do feel like this game is lacking a bit but that is very typical for Arpgs on release. I actually see a ton of potential for this game if they continue to add new items, abilities, power grids. Next year im expecting this game to be considered a very solid Arpg.

Path of Exile is prime example of this. Was an awfully plain game until its second year rolled around. Now it’s swimming in diversity of content… For better or for worse, lol.

Im not sure if you know this, but rares were BiS in certain situations in Diablo 2. I listed several of them above. Of course you wouldn’t check the fcr on an occy because you know it’s 30.

He already extracted it to get it off of a weapon he found it on. But good job assuming.

And lmao. The stats aren’t very important yet. It literally comes down to item power, dps, and the legendary properties. Sure, you can min max later on, but those are the most important things.

Edit: An occy was never BiS btw. It was a starter sorc mf item.

Instructions unclear. Certain things stuck in fan.
