Hello!

The build/synergies/paragon/items/aspects I’m using seem to have been over-looked by a large majority of the playerbase and after much thought, reading the forums - and an ounce of sympathy (especially for rogues saying shadow/poison imbue sucks) - I’ve decided that I want to share this epic build I created in HARDCORE. (Currently 74 and able to solo/clear/carry/tank Tier 4 content with ease - in a full group)

Shadow Imbue
Poison Imbue
Shadow Clone
Puncture
Twisting Blade
Note: This entire build revolves around shadow imbue + twisting blade and some absolutely wild synergies that exist thanks to a few specific aspects/unique items.

Want to INSTANTLY freeze the entire room and take no damage? (and NOT use cold imbue!)
Want to synergize well with every other class?
Want to completely 1 shot packs of 10+ elites?
Want to be tanky and never come close to death?
Want insane damage numbers?
Want to DECIMATE the butcher?!
Want an epic build that goes off with a BANG and is incredibly satisfying to play?

I got you!

PS - I know this will probably result in the inevitable nerf of my build (as it’s broken OP!) - but, I want to at least help point some of my fellow rogues in the right direction.

I can’t speak for druids - but this is pretty darn OP and everyone I’ve grouped with so far has been pretty surprised by what this build is capable of - all of the rogues on my friends list haven’t even tried this yet.

got it so it wont work unless you have Penitent Greaves. which is a random chance to drop

It will work without it, the only thing you’ll be missing is the chill effects/freeze - allowing you to take “Daze when you dash into enemies” This also procs off of your shadow clone - but yes, a lot of the bonuses rely on this “BUILD DEFINING” Unique - (As most uniques are!)

I’ve found 2 already and 4 of the pants -_- I feel like they’re pretty common!

Anyhow, there wasn’t enough space to write the alternative to this on the same guide! I hit the cap.

Note: Every single thing listed in this guide is a random chance to drop… . . . . so - great point… lol - what is the point of an ARPG if not to hunt for build defining items?!

i wish i had found ones i keep getting the same unique’s got 4 of the gloves Grasp of shadow no boots :frowning:

I used grasp of shadows until I found some good crit gloves! It can really help this build!

I am going to stream this evening, stress testing OBS with D4 - I’m really worried about it crashing D4 or something and dying on hardcore -_-

Spec into “Dash drops a smoke bomb”- Your Clone will also dash (heat seeking) into enemies directly and daze everyone - you will proceed to spread that daze!

Use this until you find them and avoid the paragon points/skills that utilize chill/freeze for now

What level are you and whats the highest NM tier youve pushed? This doesnt look “OP” at all and your gear is trash, im guessing you havent even pushed past nightmare 50s yet
