i really enjoyed D3 as a solo, playing with friends and only jumping into random bountys.
first 2 trys on world boss ppl where pretty low geared my gear was pretty ok. after not killing the boss the toxic chats started. also i get trained by other ppl with enemys wile on a bio break
If you enjoy D3 and you dislike D4 you saved 70 bucks be happy you realised it early.
Let’s be honest, when we have quests like this in games, there are many who want to take shortcuts and reap the same benefits, but are just a chore and burden to deal with on a team and I doubt I’m the only one with this opinion.
Nobody likes leechers and/or useless players. I’ve seen people in the corner for this world boss, I don’t know if their dog needed to go outside or if the police just broke down their door, but regardless, there are so many players trying to ride on the back of others, that is is overwhelming to deal with.
I understand supporting weaker players, but the problem is that many don’t even care to get better or improve in any way, that just want the benefits.
I play Apex competitively and I have noticed that there are too many players who just don’t care, but expect someone else on the team to carry them to rank up. They don’t care to learn movement, or use of the environment or improve their aim and this mentality can be seen in many other games.
The World Boss was a lot of fun, especially if you have a team for the job and I understand that it is not easy getting 12 or so people together for a boss, but if only the way it works would be different, that would improve it a lot.
For example, we can take gear rating or Level as a standard.
Big bosses like the world boss, should have minimum requirements. Anyone below the requirement, will only be matched up with other players who are also below the requirement, while everyone that is above, will get matched with others who are above.
It still does not eliminate poor performance and play-styles, but I think it will surely deal with a lot of leechers trying to take shortcuts.
Lastly, it may seem that I am intolerant with beginners, but just to clarify, I truly don’t mind so long as they give me the impression that they are trying to do their best. Everyone starts from 0, but there’s a fine line between being new and making mistakes and being knowledgeable but refusing to improve and I would take the new guy over the latter anytime.
