Feedback: Private games

Something I’ve always really liked about Diablo is that I can play alone, or with random folks, or with friends only. I miss that in Diablo IV. I personally don’t really like seeing random other players around. It feels very ‘Lost Ark’.
I would love the inclusion of private games, where I don’t have random players coming in and doing events/quests with me.
This also bothers me when I’m at my stash, wardrobe, or a vendor, and there are a bunch of folks surrounding them. Reminds me of d2, when in large games and I can’t get to my stash because the rest of the party is also at their stash.

TL;DR Please make the option for private games a thing

I was going to put this in an in-game feedback report, but that seems to be taken away this weekend?

ALSO, I wanna pet the cats. We can pet the dogs, but not the cats in the tavern?? plz blizzard. :frowning:

Yes this please! Give us the choice to see others or not.

Private game match is the same thing basically, could we ask a moderator to merge them for more coverage? But yea, not having an option to play in private is weird. Game left D3’s more colorful aesthetic for a gritty dark, Diablo2esq one and then random guys are just jotting about in their underwear, murdering my stuff and the like…

I bet they want to sell cosmetic stuff and if everybody is forced together they will see each other more thus will want to buy the shiny stuff the whale that just ran past had.

And this is most likely the truth. Because forced online and in-game shop sounds very much like an executive decision aimed to entice people to buy more cosmetics, which is the only logical reason for having a forced online multiplayer setup like this.
