(Feedback) Potions, Barbarians, etc

Hi Everyone,

I have a few bits of feedback I’d like to leave for the Devs.

Potions:
Utility potions feel rare?
When you do get a potion drop its something useless like the Overpower potion.
As for potion mats, I never have enough potion mats to make the potions I want in bulk.

Request: Reduce the number of potions, and increase the material drops to craft them.

Barbarian
I almost exclusively play Diablo as a softcore eternal realm Barbarian.
I took a break to play Necromancer to 60, and that left me wondering.
Why do Necros get an endless / regenerating resource pool and Barbarians can’t even talent for it? swap a unique in?

  1. Basic skills suck
Check all the builds - most have the minimum points, and remove basic skills off bar.

F: Change some more popular skills into basic skills.
The solution is NOT removing cooldown reduction for shouts… cough

  1. Blender
A lot of Barbarian skills knock mobs away now.
Which is counterintuitive to how Barbarian plays.
No, I don’t want to waste talent points to stop the knockback.
I want my skills to pull in all the mobs, have them trigger my close stat modifiers.
    We are melee fighters.

F: Talent tree rework - remove anything that “knockback”
F: D3 had Seismic Slam, we got Upheaval.
Please make Upheaval behave like Seismic Slam. I want it to knock mobs into the air repeatedly.
F: For love of bob, please turn [Aspect of Grasping Whirlwind] into a talent or bake it into the core ability. I have to have this for my whirlwind barb, even though it doesnt proc often…

  1. Treasure Goblins
Diablo 3 had it right - multiple types of treasure goblins are awesome.
Even when they drop terrible loot, Goblins offer a break from mindless grinds.

F: Create a gold sink. With players amassing ever larger amounts of gold, what if we could create a trap / lure in treasure goblins with large sums of gold?

  1. Whimsy
We get it, D4 is trying to go back to deep gothic horror roots.
Being honest though? I don’t think players care.
Power. Loot. Being “in the zone”.
I was not planning on spending real money on cosmetics, but I bought my Barbarian the polar bear back pack immediately.
Bring back whimsyshire, funny uniques with pop culture references.
Hell, a zombie apocalypse where are all the zombies are from Minecraft?
    Win.
Players like ways to feel different from everyone else, and sometimes we like maiming cute fluffy unicorns into puddles of gore.
    Give people what they want!
