[Feature Request] Easy Improvements to The Pit

The Pit is a grind, but it’s supposed to be to an extent. I’ve been finishing out my Masterworking my remaining gear lately and have had time to think about some simple improvements that would make The Pit better to run.

  1. No Dead Ends
    These dungeons aren’t a pillar of lore, they don’t need to be realistic to the location, and thus should be circular in design. There are a few dungeons where you’ll walk down a long path that just leads to a dead end. Then you’re just backtracking an empty hallway. Every path forward should connect back to the dungeon main network in some way.

  2. Improved Boss Visibility (Arena obstacles)
    There are a few boss arenas where the boss will just be hidden behind a Palm Tree or Pillar. Arena obstacles / details that the players’ camera just doesn’t penetrate, even at a moderately close distance. Pulling agro from the boss (to move the boss) is usually difficult because these bosses tend to be ranged. I’ve run across this issue with both Blood Warden and Mohlon (The viper boss).

  3. The Layup
    Let us replay The Pit after killing the boss. Make it like The Trials where a screen pops up to go again. The more thematic option would be to spawn The Pit Obelisk after defeating the boss. The Trials already do something similar, the pit is gindy, there’s no reason to force the player to go back to Cerrigar. An easy update to make The Pit better for everyone.

General updates to make The Pit a better experience for everyone. Little details and UX updates can really go a long way.
