Why Necromancers must suffer the diktat of thinness ?
Im not sure why people are obsessing with the body types of each class. Some streamers have even out right accused blizzard of fat shaming.
Listen, you dont have to be insecure in a game, also you dont need to validate the fat classes by asking for all of them to be fat. Just enjoy them for what they are.
Necromancers, Sorcerers and Rogues should be thin, because of their skills and agility. Who ever heard of a fat Necro? Heavy eating is not part of their lore. And a Rogue can’t be too agile if he’s fat! While Druids and Barbarians should be thick, because of their skills and brute force. I mean, you can’t realistically transform into a bear if you weigh 95 lbs, could you? Or a 95 lb Barbarian carrying two 2-hander axes?
Realisticly you can’t transform into a bear no matter your weight. It’s magic in a fantasy game so all realistic views are for the bin. It’s totaly fair to have problems with what is given and people should simply stop to argue against it and all the “fat” mimimi threads would die in hours.
What are you talking about? The diablo lore timeline is not even several thousand years long. I highly recommend reading the books if you really wanna understand what druids actually are in the diablo lore.
According to the timeline, Diablo 1 took place in 1263 of the Sanctuary calendar, and Diablo 2 took place over the following two years. Diablo Immortal took place five years later, with Diablo 3 occurring 15 years after that. However, Diablo 4 is taking place a whopping 50 years after the events of Reaper of Souls.

-2300 : Recovered artifacts indicate that by this time, writing, art, and science had become an integral part of human culture. Modern scholars agree that this time marks the beginning of Kehjan, humanity’s first civilization.
meaning the creation of sanctuary dates even further than that
Not like they separated at the beginning of Sanctuary though.
It has likely been less than a millennia since the barbarian and druids have split.
At the [Túr Dúlra], the greatest of the Druid Colleges, stands the magnificent oak Glór-an-Fháidha. This tree is the most revered source of the Druids guidance and teachings. Under its branches, for centuries, the Druids hone not only their powerful arsenal of natural magic, but also the martial skills they have retained from their Barbarian forefathers.
Whether it has or hasn’t, they still follow the barbarian ways to some extent meaning they will still have a similar build.
