what’s the fastest way to gain levels? i’m 271 and i want to reach 285+ asap, what should i do?
Fastest and highest Pit-Level you can do. Over and over again.

yep, before grinding pit exp, get a zombie to bite you first, you only need finger muscle memory to do it.
Dont forget to buff XP using a potion an inscent. When popping up the inscent in cerrigar make sure to quickly run around and buff other people. If you see a player named “Irres” forget about the other people and focus on buffing him

125s in 3-4 min are ok or too slow?

Unless you are a necro, doing the highest pit that you can rush through in less than 2 or even 1.30 minutes is the most effective way, XP per pit tier doesnt increase enough to justify spending an extra minute or two in it.
Well, if you are a necro, you will have to deal with your pits lasting 3 minutes or longer. I just do the highest pit tier that my slop wave can oneshot, which is usually around 130. It takes around 4 minutes but we have to pay the necro tax somehow.
Obviously all this only applies if you are fully maxed out with your gear and have a decent enough build. And if you feel like running pits for days will irreversibely shatter your soul you can always run around in witchtides or burn your horde keys, they are good XP sources as well.
