Lots of reddits, press articles and pretended “level guides”, but hard to find a plain and simple answer.
Campaign finished, renown maxed, lvl beyond 50. There may be some secondaries hidden somewhere, but everyone visible on the map is complete already.
So, from this point:
Whats the best way to level up to 100? Tree Whispers? Doing Helltides? Farming Nightmare Dungeons once and again?
BTW, playing solo mostly.
Get a group if you don’t have a group quit.
Shouldn’t be hard to find players in an online game, just use the chat or group finder tool and do dungeons with the people.
If your playing solo on purpose and don’t want to group I recommend also quitting this game.
And even if you play in groups I also recommend quitting.
No offense but you´re avoiding almost entirely the topic, aside of using it to spread your thoughts about “how it should be played by others” or even if “it should be played at all”.
While obviously you´re entitled to your fair opinion, its kinda offtopic and mostly out of place, the topic is a very clear and straight question, and your dissertion is quite far from being any kind of answer.
Helltides until you can handle NMD’s that are at least 3 levels above you. Then spam run those until you’re blue in the face.
There was a big patch just yesterday that nerfed all of the existing popular builds, and rerolled people’s items, which has REALLY pissed off most of the playerbase.
That said, there might be other builds that can make the best of the current situation. Right now may not be the best time to figure out what’s where, since this patch just happened.
Speaking of before that, (I am not sure to what extent it’ll apply,) the monsters scale with you as you play. So, whether you’re lvl 58 or lvl 68, you’ll be encountering enemies of that level – though if your build is effective, you’ll have less trouble defeating them.
Again, I am not sure how helpful this is, since the dust-up of the massive nerfs by this patch just happened. I am speaking specifically as it was before the patch.
You do 400-500 NM dungeons and pray this doesn’t kill your desire to ever do them again because that is also the endgame content. You can also do hell tides and stuff but it’s not worth the xp loss.
I’m not level 100. But I’ve tamed my play style. I only put in 1-3 hours a night. I log on, find out the next hell tide, the next world boss, and legions and do nm dungeons in-between. I just skip around these things. Legions are good way to find other players. Even if it’s only for while you are doing the legion. Same with the world boss.
I also still have quests , renown, and whispers to do. So I throw those in-between the above. This seems to grind out levels at an ok clip. So far.
