Every time there’s an update, I am getting 100-200 KB/s download speed. I have 1GB fiber internet, wtf is going on? I have already messed with the download limit settings, still nothing. Any fixes?
Same… I even switched to an alternate internet provider with the same result.
Same here, I currently have 500Mbps fiber (and previously 400Mbps cable), and with both providers, I get some patches that download at roughly 15-20kbps.
Todays 2.2.2a patch of 1.28 GB took approximately two hours to complete, of which probably at least 30 minutes was spent on “Initializing…” Reboots of the PC and the router/gateway did not make any difference…
No other devices on my network are having issues with downloads, and other applications on my PC are working fine. The update took about 3 minutes total on my PS5…
However, on looking at resource manager on my PC during the process, I saw that the patches are downloading from akamai, which is the same CDN that amazon uses for New World which my roommate has been having frequent disconnects from recently. So I imagine it’s an upstream issue, but I can’t say for sure.
Any thoughts?
