I don’t know why, but since the beginning of Season 5, my games freezes for 4-5s each time I open the inventory when not in town. Same thing with any tab (Season, Paragon, or even pressing the Esc Button). I can’t even change the transmog because it takes about 6-8 seconds to load each one.
I even put my graphic settings to medium but nothing changed. I run the game in 3440x1440p, I should not have ANY issue with my specs. Hope it’s not because of the issue with Intel CPUs (lol).

hm… i did have a few rare lags in s5, but nowhere close to what you describe
you game is installed on an ssd and you do update your graphic card driver regularly?
On a M.2 yes. And everything is up to date. Game ran super smooth every other seasons!
I’ve been having it too. Use ctrl+r twice in game to show ping, I’ve noticed mine going to 999ms frequently. I started running pingplotter in the background to a google server and the ping stays steady at around 25ms compared to D4 which is always around 100ms to begin with, and that connection does not show the massive lag spikes that diablo does.

since yesterday game is unplayable. Im rubber banding from 150 ms to 1.5k for hours and hours, i dont know how this is not Blizzards servers issue and not more people are being affected.
This poorly optimized cheap American Lost Ark rip off has above average graphics at best.

Well I tried the oldest trick in the book (feeling dumb for not doing it sooner). But re-installing the game somehow made it much better. Ping is still going up to 600ms from time to time but nothing as bad as before.
i did a reinstall as well, and just about 30 mins ago, started having 1.8k ms spikes and freezes, this is not normal.
