Bug where extracting Aspect doesn’t work:
Extracted Aspect still greyed out in Codex, but Legendary item was lost.
Please solve this issue so game works as intended. Now I have a yellow off hand and a missing Aspect.
Edit: Seems this is working as intended. For anyone with same issue and not sure, Aspect can be found in Inventory under “Aspect” tab. Codex is only for Aspects from dungeon. Other Aspects can be extracted but then only used once.
Props to you, for editing post after finding solution, cause you might have saved me a lot of time searching for this!
Props to the Edit, I was getting frustrated with mine just disappearing. This makes so much more sense now!
I actually just had this problem occur, at this moment.
I use Extract Aspect, and I’ve Imprinted Aspects, but for some reason THIS time, the aspect I extracted did not go into my Aspect Tab in Inventory, and my weapon was destroyed.
What up wit dat, Blizzard, because it was a really awesome aspect on a Legendary 2H weapon.
Does that inventory have infinite storage? I haven’t extracted enough to fill mine yet, but wonder if its full, what happens when you extract then? Does it go poof? Or does it give you an error that your aspect storage is full?
I’ve run into the problem again. I’ve extracted the same aspect twice on 2 different pieces of equipment, and neither time did it go to the Aspect inventory for me to put on another piece of gear. Any suggestions on how to find out what I’m doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated! I really want this aspect for my build 
Figured it out after reading another forum. There are tokens in your character inventory tab labeled aspects. You have to plug a token into the inventory aspect tab in the Occultist’s imprint aspect menu. Hope this helps
It wasn’t full.
I don’t know what would happen if you tried on a full bag.
I do know that one time I killed a boss and was either forced away from lack of connection, or just left without picking up all my loot, and a piece of loot was in my case in a special recovered cache.
