I think banning anyone for this exploit in this game is… pointless.
Honestly who gives a sh!t? This game basically has no economy. There is no ladder, no social engagement, nothing. Its basically a solo game. The game is an empty void of poor design. Why ban anyone willing to play this sh!tshow is beyond me.
Yes yes I get the premise behind banning exploit abusers. But lets be real. This game is in a sad sorry state and won’t be in an acceptable one probably for at least 1-2 years if not more. So who honestly cares if some people got some gold to be able to reroll their items 3 more times at 30mil a roll with a .00001 chance to get the mod they need on their boring a$$ item…

There isnt anything to do in this game, didn’t uninstall but I haven’t played in about a week. Game is in a pretty sorry state. Ill come back from time to time to see if the devs remove heads from @nus but basically its like watching the aftermath of a car crash right now. But funnier.

It signals to players that Blizzard cares somewhat. For anyone hoping D4 might improve over time, banning the cheaters is a required step imo.
what about people who abuse the infinite NM dungeon resets with group leader swapping? should they also be banned?
It doesn’t matter what you think, it’s irrelevant, the users that got banned and or suspended broke the agreement between the company and they company can punish said user for breaking the agreement.

Level playing fields are important to people in online games. You asked “who cares?” Mostly everyone playing this game.
It is a single player game which happened to be always online. It does not matter at all what people do or how much gold other people have.
By the way, most of the single player games have official cheats. But knowing that someone created 9999999 gold in Skyrim won’t stop people from playing it, right? I don’t see how Diablo 4 is different from it.
Incorrect. In any shared online experience with a ruleset in place and obstacles to overcome, there is a degree of competition. The very fact the community demands the rules be enforced is proof of that. You just simply don’t understand the competition. Or pretend it away to make excuses for cheating. Either way, you’re wrong.

I agree with one part, it doesn’t affect me. I don’t pvp and most likely will never see these people in game .
However, people that cheat are scum and any ban for this is well deserved.
The devs should really take their time in making a serviceable game instead of thinking of ways to milk their customers dry by making the game annoying.
