Exploding enemies

hi. what’s the aspect or skill again that causes enemies to explode when you hit them and the explosion spreads to other enemies?

I think you’re referring to the Shatter key passive, but there’s other possible suspects depending on what you think you’ve seen. Shatter is the one the high Pit push builds use.

thanks for the reply. it was an imprint on a helm (i think) when i availed the welcome back instant level to 50 thing, and i chose the fire mastery. but i salvaged the helm already =(

If it’s fire, and an aspect, then it’s probably Aspect of Conflagration with Incinerate. Though that wouldn’t be on a helm since it’s an Offensive Aspect.

There’s lots of ways to make things explode as a Sorc; here’s the fiery ways:

  • X’Fals Corroded Signet will trigger explosions from any DoT - Blizzard, Firewall, Incinerate, Firebolt, Meteor, Inferno
  • Fireball enchantment makes everything you kill explode, which can cause chain reactions.
  • Aspect of Inevitable Fate works with Firewall, Metero, Inferno and Firebolt.
  • Rakanoth’s Wake can make explosions.
    There’s probably more.
