I played diablo 4 on the initial release and got to level 60. To my surprise I was informed that level 88 was halfway. Has this been fixed? Is it doable for a casual player?
It was level 100 max on release, as you probably recall. Level 60 is now the cap.
Experience gain is massively increased (and/or requirements reduced). Now, it is very fast to get to the maximum level, and instead, they moved the ‘time sink’ levelling to the paragon system (and even then it’s fast to get to 200, pretty easy to get to 245-250, and ridiculously long beyond that).
Having said that, getting to even 250 will give you a very complete and powerful character. And that takes less time than the initial levelling to 100 on release

60 is top level 300 paragon is the limit.
Most say paragon 280 is about halfway.
