Expected FPS on a UWQHD with my specs?

Hey, Im considering getting the
Dell Curved Gaming, 34 Inch Curved Monitor with 144Hz Refresh Rate, WQHD (3440 x 1440) Display, Black - S3422DWG https://a.co/d/9OeIr0s

I have a Legion 5 Pro with: Ryzen 7 6800H, 3070ti 8gb, 32gb DDR5, NVMe SSD.

Id like to play it with maxed settings, high def texture pack, 1440p.

The Dell monitor apparently flickers below 60 fps. Think I can count on playing reliably above 60 fps? I havent had a relatively powerful pc in a while. I guess Im asking if my comp is powerful enough for the monitor…

Thanks very much for any input!

Shouldn’t have an issue on hitting 60fps if you do just drop the texture to high you can’t really see the difference

Dunno exactly what you’ll hit with high / ultra textures but above 60 will be easy, even without DLSS enabled

Here’s the old beta. Go to about 5:22.

If you’re just trying to keep it at 60, you’ll never see dips on gameplay. If you’re trying to run at 144, you’ll see a lot of dips, sometimes into the sub 100s which is quite noticeable in comparison to just sitting on a consistent frame rate IMO

I personally like to set settings to run at the native refresh rate of my screen with 0 dips, which for that card would be DLSS quality and medium textured

Should average around 100FPS at 4K on the ultrawide even on high res textures (probably a ~20-25% loss). Might drop don to 60-70 in some towns and dungeon fights with many spawns.
The flickering is probably due to what is explained in the video I linked you yesterday @08:20.

I had smooth performance at 3440x1440 on an external display on my laptop with a 2070 card in, so I think you’ll be fine.

D4 isn’t the most graphics intensive game.
