Expansion pricing cross-platform

It seems that I’m getting a different pricing when logged into my XBOX: $80.99 ultimate, $53.99 deluxe, $35.99 standard

I bought the original game on PC as ultimate. I then bought the Diablo 4 edition XBOX Series X, and have my XB account linked to my PC BNet account for cross-progression. I also have GPU on my XB account.

Does anyone know why is the pricing in the XB cheaper in my case?
Also, if I buy the expansion on the XB, will my PC Bnet get the benefits like cosmetics, platinums, game expansion?

Gamepass ultimate 10% discount most likely.
Now have they answered if you buy the expansion on PC, will you be able to play the expansion on Xbox as well… That is the real question. Since it is technically linked to Battle Net account. I know it works for cosmetics, but actual expansion content…

Yeah, I’m hoping that it’s account bound and not platform since I’m actually seeing these pricing through the in-game shop and not the MS/XB store.

There is a bug rn where the discount does not always show up for gamepass users. Also i bought mine with the discount today. Later i went on my laptop that has it installed through gamepass. Well when i go to the shop it should look different on the expansion page showing the one that i bought. It didn’t and they were full price :thinking: little buggy lol

I also noticed on Xbox there is an “ultimate edition upgrade pack” which allows you to buy just the Deluxe and Ultimate extra’s if you already have the base expansion. Makes me think/wonder if the base VoH edition is going to come to gamepass.

But were you able to get the cosmetics on the PC?

Something similar happened to me in COD, where I bought the standard on PC then bought the Vault edition on XB.
PC is still offering to sell me Vault upgrade even though I already have the benefits available on PC (and XB).

pretty sure itll be just like the base game edition, meaning youll have to purchase it on every platform if you chose to use multiple.

however, if you are interested int the cosmetics, youll only have to purchase the ultimate edition once. for the other platforms the standard edition suffices then.

Yes i still have all my stuff equipped. But when i go to the shop on PC it’s trying to get me to buy it again at full price. When on xbox it will show that i bought one and the page will look different. Not a big deal, but it’s strange
