Let’s face it. This is bad, even by modern Blizzard standards. Last time we had a launch this bad it was probably Diablo 3.
Before the predictable ‘update drivers/fix hardware/reinstall Windows/buy a RTX 4090 or get out skill issue’ posts: 2 week old 4080 based PC, fully up to date drivers.
Last second delay.
Ray tracing broken, giving horrible performance and crashes in new outdoor areas.
Framegen disabled.
Issues with Eternal.
Cosmetics from previous seasons do not work on Spritborn.
Server crashes resetting entire quest chains (this is so… so annoying).
Anticlimactic ending.
Weird post processing on edges of screen. Cannot be disabled.
I cannot believe the performance drops post expansion. Game was fairly stable on monday and now this crap show slog fest. Was getting constant 200 fps before and now im getting dips into the 90s. I really hope they can turn this around and that they have way more content/bosses/expansions planned cause that ending was dog.
Absolutely amazing story and after that banger ending cinematic I was so hyped to continue but no im actually so sad… I love his new false prophet look but ending it there??? I really wanted to keep going and get to see and fight mephisto’s true form
Sad…
They need to stop enabling ray tracing and cross play every time a new patch comes in. It breaks some players systems and not everyone knows to turn those off.
Sure, it’s understandable, but also generally expected that they would adapt the heavily paid for MTX to adapt to new content. For most stuff it’s just a slider. If they continue to show they have no intention to carry old MTX forward as they introduce new classes I think they will find they sell fewer MTX.
Blizzard as a company, even on World of Warcraft seems to just release the game as it is, and fix major issues on the live version. I’ve learned for future releases to just play a few months after major releases. Shame really. And disappointing.
