That’s really nice. Seeing those gazillion numbers of Lighting Spears is scary and it looks fun. It’s also nice it’s T100.
On a different note, have you found a way to record longers vids from your Xbox? What I do is screencast on my Xbox app to my phone and record my phone’s screen. Kinda sad but that’s the only way I can do it.

Thank you. Yeah it looks fun isn’t it haha. The dmg is actually better than expected using that conjuration passive that increases you dmg times x for every spear. I was looking to replace that frost orb cause I wanted to go as much lighting as possible. This is just as good if not better even.
No I haven’t really. Well I can record for 4 minutes max. I’ve read about it but it seems you have to have like a capture card and a pc to do longer vids sadly.
Oh yeah. That passive is really strong the more you have summons. I assume you have the +3 amulet too. So 6x Spears is like 36x. Add ice blades and you can get 7x. If you add Hydra, that becomes 9x which could be theoretically means 9 x 6 is 54x damage.
I don’t have the amulet yet but I’m looking for it. Right now I’m using +3 devouring blaze.

Well one question: Is Frost Nova really needed if you are using the Frozen Orb enchantment to proc vulnerable? I hate running 4 defensive skills and dont really intend to try a T100 NMD, at least not with sorc
If you’re not running T100s then no you won’t need frost nova. I am using it but I can do lots of dmg without it. I can probably clear T100 without it but it will be a lot more difficult. Vulnerable is just really strong and will help you blow up elites like you see in the vid. My advice will be to invest a lot in dmg to stun/cc if you’re not going for nova.
I didn’t read your post well enough :p. I see you’re using frozen orb instead. It works fine it’s just a little less reliable as frost nova that’s all.
My personal take is if you are not running T100 and just doing T50s, I feel any decent build will work.
On tier 50 yea easily. Most things will work if you put the right things now. Especially with the malignant hearts.
This looks like a lot of fun. Was toying around with a similar idea, since I’m already playing a hybrid conjuror sorcerer.
I want to get rid of using blizzard, kind of sick of having to cast that spell already.

Basic idea is to use Chain Lightning spam to proc Crackling Energy then picking those up will spawn Lightning Spears for stuns + damage boost?

Is the conjuration mastery passive still worth it if you’re only using one of the three exclusively (say lightning spear), instead of having all three of them combined (hydra, spear, and ice blades)? I’m currently using all three of them and the passive.
Would assume yes. Just asking because if you’re running a tight build, a few points here and there are a precious commodity.

Yeah it’s worth it if you can make up for it with the right speed/atk speed. It is a tight build and you have to keep up the momentum. Ive actually taken out some points of glass cannon and put them in conjuration mastery. Ive tested this on Lilith with a two handed and some more single target dmg aspects and managed to do 26 million dmg at some points. Which is around the same I did when running frozen orb and glass cannon. A bit less consistent but I stagger her much quicker.
P.s. I only have 1 point in lighting spear and the 2 passives. It’s purely for utility.

Here’s a tier 100 boss fight. Note: I’m not equipped for single target for that fight but you’ll see even then the dmg is pretty good.

Do you think there’s any room to incorporate Blizzard in this point for additional crowd control? It’s another skill that functions well with only a couple points.
I haven’t played any form of frost at all but you could potentially swap some stuff out. Maybe even use blizzard instead of the lightning spear or instead of the lighting ult. Though I can use the lighting spear without slotting it on my bar.
I always ask myself what am I missing. At this point im not missing CC for example. I even dropped the Shared misery aspect in this build.
