Every bludgeon weapon stuck with identical stats

Hi,

Platform - Xbox Series X.
Character - Barbarian.
Level - 59.

I’m now unable to progress as EVERY single bludgeoning weapon I collect is stuck with an identical “upper tier stat”.

I’ve collected countless weapon drops in the past day or so, well over 200 of which have been two handed or one handed bludgeoning weapons (BW). But, EVERY BW I collect, gamble with Obols, or view at any weapon vendor is STUCK with an identical “upper stat” (the stat above the white line) of exactly “62% overpower damage” for any two handed BW, or exactly “31% overpower damage” for any one handed BW. (Should it be in anyway unclear - Overpower damage is USELESS to me, PERIOD!!! I DON’T want it or need it, yet I’m stuck with 300% of it that is completely worthless.)

I wasn’t experiencing this issue before 05 April and the problems apparently started after a period of extended login issues on the evening of 04 April (GMT +1). EVERY item I collected before then was as normal with completely random and mixed stats. However, something changed with the game that has resulted in this annoying issue. None of my friends are suffering from the same issue and seem as perplexed by the problem as I.

Obviously, I can change the stats as normal from below the white line using an affix or change any aspect normally too. However, this stat above the white line is fixed and now it’s utterly stuck, as am I!!!

I am attaching screenshot links highlighting the issue should there fail to be any understanding of which stat are stuck and why they can’t be changed, please view these for reference!

I have attempted multiple game restarts and server hops. I have attempted restarting my Xbox multiple times also, (including clearing the cache). I have experienced NO crashes or file corruption, and ALL other stats for ALL other items are returning normal/typical mixed and random stats with every pick up. It’s just the bludgeoning weapons that have somehow become affected.

Can you please kindly tell me how to rectify this issue?

Thank you.

Maces always have Overpower as their inherent affix. Swords are crit damage. Axes are damage to healthy. Pole arms are damage to injured. This has been the case since the beginning.

Thanks so much for responding on the subject, it’s very much appreciated :). Thanks for clarifying the “inherent affix” classification too.

I’m now utterly bewildered, however, as I was originally getting mace drops with differing inherent affix, ( I’m 100% positive that I had a mace with damage to injured and another mace with crit damage as I had them equipped throughout approximately 15 levels each), hence my total confusion here. (Unfortunately, I tore down these examples to remove their aspects and obviously can no longer provide screenshots or I would have happily posted them too.)

What you’re actually telling me is that I seem to have had a bug BEFORE, with various maces dropping stating a different inherent affix to what they should have had, and now things are in fact behaving correctly with all maces having their correct OP damage affix!!??

Either way, bugs aside, at least I now have peace of mind that whatever bug was going on is resolved despite the fact that I was in fact previously benefiting from it in unforeseen ways.

Regards.

EDIT - Additionally,

This still doesn’t account for why every two handed mace and one handed mace I collect in the world or view at any weapons vendor on the map; are both completely stuck at 62% and 31% OP damage respectively!

The mace I’m currently equipped has an 80% OP damage stat but I acquired that 3 or 4 days ago, yet since the evening of 04 April, not one mace I’ve found now out of many hundreds has differed from 62% or 31% OP damage for the inherent affix.

That’s definitely bugged!!

If I remember correctly, the implicit (I believe this is the term the game actually uses) affix is based on ilvl of the item. Anything ilvl 780+ has the max implicit value (it’s like 94.5 and 47.3). If you upgrade an item, that value will go up as well as the regular affixes.
