I am able to play other graphic heavy games on high - ultra (e.g. Starfield, RDR2 etc…)
Just only this game thats giving me frustrations. sigh

Logged back in the evening and still freezing.
I think there is something with the servers causing those lag spikes
Something weird is going on today, and definitely is their end. I have been playing since its release on Xbox Series X and very rarely had any issues with the connection, but today the rubberbanding is awful everywhere in the game for me since morning, very frustrating. And it’s only Diablo, I can play other games with no issues.
The game runs fine in some small regions like malnok in fractured peaks and world boss location also. Like game is choking you disk drive with other player pressence.
I can spam buttons and all menu open instantly in these locations.
Those of you on PC and Nvidia cards, might want to use this as a temporary solution for freezing and slow menus, things like that till a better solution comes up:
This is just a bandaid on a bigger wound. I definitely believe that the cause of this lag or freeze is desync which means their server is too slow or too few to accommodate influx of players.
I have a decent internet speed and was able to download Diablo 4 at 20mbps+
Speed has NOTHING to do with it.
Mine plays best on my 8MB DSL line. And less well on my Starlink that runs 75-300+MB.
So what does that say?

Tell that to those with these issues that did the fix I suggested above and it worked. But hey, believe what you like.
