Season 7 has been great for some, but for me? Not really. It’s centered around a mechanic I can’t stand (whispering—I’d honestly rather do the dishes), and it’s been dragging on so long that even the forum seems half-asleep.
Blizzard’s silence doesn’t help either. A bland roadmap, no hype, and a season dropping in less than two weeks with zero promotion—it’s like they’re not even trying to keep things interesting.

They’re all pretty dead since the beggining…

Forums generally only represent a very small fraction of the playerbase. I have noticed in these forums the numbers of people engaging in the fray has tapered off to an extent.
The D4 forums are not for everyone.

- I will have some oatmeal with frozen fruit and some almond milk with 2 eggs for breakfast.
- I will take the dog for a long walk in that park before the snow shows up.
- I will have a large tuna salad for lunch.
- I will go swimming at the gym for an hour with my wife.
- I will take my wife out tonight for supper (dinner).
- I will watch some shows on Acorn with my wife tonight.
- I will watch the news to see what stupid things you-know-who did today.
- I will do some reading and check the forums.
- I will go to bed and hopefully get some good sleep.
I will also clean up my mancave, do the dishes, take out the trash and vacuum during the day.

Your wife is lucky to have someone special who spends that much time with her. This will sound sarcastic on the forums, but good for you both and I hope you all appreciate each other. Sounds like you do.

diablo 4 needs a massive revamp, inside and out, not just a seasonal power with a different slime colour and a free pet.

“To an extent” means “fell off a cliff”.
In the early days, this place was absolutely popping. It was actually annoying how many threads a minute were created. Now, we don’t see much activity even on days that content is announced.

Season 7 was probably the shortest season and there isn’t much to discuss about season 8 that hasn’t already been discussed.

Because there’s nothing to talk about, I’m a huge lurker and all I see is people talking about the same sh@t again and again and again. When something truly interesting happens then speech skills might level up.

Hasn’t been happening. Even major patches and PTRs show a very low increase in traffic vs expected.

A lot of people are done with a season after 2 weeks - a month which more or less correlates to the forums since there hasn’t been anything new to talk about
Fourms feel like a ghosttown for now. Come back after the campfire chat. Fourms will be very active especially with some of the positive changes S8 is making.
Maybe we will have more then a 1-2 week season in S8.

True I started binge watching this show on Netflix called the Dragon Prince. Thought it was going to be a stupid animated thing…while animated, it is actually quite good. I’ve enjoyed it, and it is definitely not for younger kids. While some things are kiddy, a lot of the other themes defnitely are not, and while it is not like Arcane or Invincible…adult animations, it is still quite good, it’s somewhere inbetween I guess.
I have not even played the other game since I started watching this…

Yeah their new season seems pretty good so far
