Evaluating loot is exhausting to the point I often just log out

Glad to see people are actually getting fed up with these childish a$$ “git gud” responses

Saying that “get good” is a childish response is childish now? What’s your next move kid, repeating all my sentences?

What I think they mean, is that their intelligence is so low that they have no constructive thoughts, so all they can manage to muster up in their tiny brain is “git gud”.

This game would greatly benefit from a Last Epoch style loot filter system so we could re-color/re-size items based on the stats and stat rolls.

Having to manually do it with every item isn’t going to keep people playing longer than giving us better tools.

from experience i’d say the first one to use “kid” as an insult is the kid
i was 16 last time i used “kid” on the internet. im almost 40 now and i still remember how cringe that was :stuck_out_tongue:

Its absolutely awful and the fact that we dont have filtering/search options in our inventories make it that worse. Its a spreadsheet game at that point, just like POE.

Yeah? Well I’m…I’m 41! Huh, what about that?

jesus i’m sorry. do you not feel the cringe?

thats sad.

the only stat that matters on any item in the game is the “item power”, all the other stats on an item are fluff

That was the point, imitating a child behaviour. Come on, it was obvious…

i dont even know who used it first. thats my b.

I have 3.5 tabs full of legendaries that I am dreading sorting through. I really dont like the randomness of legendaries in this version of Diablo. I liked how the legendaries each had their name so you knew sorta what you were getting. I dont even look at white, blue or yellow anymore, just pop them with a single click. I try to only pick up sacred yellows and legendaries to minimize reduce the amount of traveling back to town while dungeoning.

TBH I am shocked Blizzard didn’t go the POE way and allow custom loot filters for this game.

you could set to ignore all loot except if it has specific stats you want.

every game should have that system as it is a MASSIVE QoL to a loot based game.

What they need are item filters that won’t even show items that don’t have certain affixes. Or even affixes within a custom range. The itemization direction for the game is fantastic, but in order for it to not be a chore, it needs QOL streamlining. This especially includes a search box with advanced filters in the stash.

Can get tedious but most of the benefits of the affixes aren’t rocket science. I just wish everything rolled with primary stat.

It’s called Gear Compare Fatigue. Too much loot drops and i spend half my time comparing gear in town. You can’t finish a dungeon without filling your bag.

I wish i could set flags for the affixes i am looking for on each type of gear. So then when i mouse over an item it highlights the affixes i set. Or even better yet it shows the number of affixes i hit right on the gear without even having to mouse over. So if i see 0 or 1 i can trash and if i see 2+ i can check those out more closely.

I agree fully here Toasty, I think this whole issue can be mostly mitigated if they just forced the rolls to reorder on the gear. Once an item is spawned, the affixes could get auto-arranged in descending order by their importance. Something like this in descending order.

Main stat
Crit
CDR
+X to dmg
+X to skills
+Resist

I feel like most games in this genre have the item affixes set up in some kind of order, which makes searching items much easier because you typically know where to look for what you’re looking for.

Currently, you may have some key stat right underneath your resistances, or split between the top and bottom, or next to eachother. No pattern at all.

It’s only a few lines of affixes, but them being scrambled definitely makes it harder to judge an item. This doesn’t even include people that have issues with OCD, or some type of text reading disorders, which I presume makes their lives much worse as well.

Hilarious seeing people lose their minds when they encounter stats that’s aren’t the overused, generic trio of crit rate, crit damage and attack speed. Nothing in the game is as complex as you are describing, not even the stats.
