Died the first time in ages at a world boss since I couldn’t see what he was doing.
Don’t know if the build needs a nerf or just a limit to the missiles, but clearly this needs attention!
quill volley does as much visual lag as evade does. spiritborn visuals in general are to flashy for these dollar store servers to run properly on.
I’m playing the volley build (not evade) myself, that’s not it.
evade adds the extra missiles per second which causes too much calculations. Similar to D3 days when we had too much mobs+aoe in GR150
if thats what it is, than expect the same treatment as dust devils, etc lower number of feathers spawn, but hit harder to compensate. Stier build —> A-/B+ tier Build. ive experienced most lag spikes around quill volley players spamming hunter/quill volley personally.
I just tried this build and the lag is massive hoping it will be fix soon.
i play an evade spiritborn with a ton of spam. it doesn’t cause lag, neither visual nor connection. i tested it quite thoroughly. also there are far worse builds out there.
the servers are just laggy in general (due to being overcrowded).
those missiles are single target. any serious aoe build causes more calculations.
the missiles are performance friendly, since everything dies in one second.
100% I lag out more near no cooldown quill volley + constant poison proc builds than I do the evade thing.
Meh. I expected it. They said a long time ago SpiritChad would be overpowered and broken. Some of us tried to raise the red flags back then and no one cared. NOW everyone wants to be upset about it.
It’s a common theme so far in D4 so I think you will likely adjust, eventually. It can be a rough ride, sorry. Prepare yourself that in EACH season, your dream class MIGHT get an S tier class but more likely not. They keep us jumping between this and that.
You can still play whatever you want, just don’t expect it to get you to top tiers. At least now, you CAN get the top things in multiple difficulty tiers.
