Hey all have 2 questions:
-
Do the lightning feathers that shoot out while evading count as a basic skill or core skill? Trying to amp the damage on them and dont know what tempers I should use. Do they have lucky hit chance?
-
I have an aspect that leaves behind feathers on the ground. It seems picking them up only restores those movement speed stacks. Do they give any other sort of buff?
-thinking of this while typing: how do I tell if i have stacks of ferocity or resolve? I dont see them on my buff bar, but see my shoulder pads on fire.
Thanks!
No they are not basic or core skills. They can be buffed with Storm Feather Potency tempers - that recipe is a separate damage bucket, it will give a bigger boost than lets say Eagle damage or Vulnerable damage.
The aspect which leaves feathers on the ground is not that great, there is one aspect which calls feathers to you to let them deal damage but those are much weaker than the Evade Feathers.
If you really want to get stronger, use the Viscous Shield Node on the Paragon board, and then get a greater affix for Life on most of your gear. You will get 1% stronger for every 12 points of Life you have (as long as your barrier is full). For example a Spiritborn with 12000 Life/Barrier will gain 1000% more damage for everything.
You can also stack Resolve with Armored Hide and Resolve tempers on defensive gear to scale your crit damage, using Aspects of Interdiction and Redirected Force.
For Ferocity and Resolve, they are both on your buff bar when active. Though there is limited space so if you have too many buffs active, they might temporarily not be visible. Just use Armored Hide regularly to keep Resolve active. Ferocity doesnt really matter for Evade since it is limited by your Cooldown and not attack speed.
