Look, the devs had a nice idea when making the spiritborn evade build. It works great. But they forgot one thing…
To be able to spam evade by holding spacebar, instead of tap tap tap. We NEED an accessibility option for this.
Afaik this is the only “skill” that can’t be spammed by holding down a button. Unless carpal tunnel is the legendary aspect that this build needs to function.
Just rebind it? I’ve had evade on right click since season 1.
The only difference this makes is that i’ll get carpal tunnel on my other hand.
Ha. Pretty sure you can hold it down though when it’s rebound to mouse. That said I don’t know why you would want to. You need to build up feathers with abilities for a couple hits before evade to really play it for dmg.
Just tried it, it doesn’t.
And not at all, it generates its own feathers by auto-casting thunderspike.
Right. You get some but you can build it up to what 15 seconds then you get 8 for every second remaining or whatever it is. I’m not at home just on my phone right now so I can’t confirm but I’m also positive mine auto casts if held down. Will confirm if does. Can tell you I use a wired Logitech G502
I don’t think the Devs intended an infinite evade build. Look at how the screen tilts every time you evade consecutively, it’s extremely jarring. Also you have alot of IFrames to the point where you barely get hit and in turn can ignore alot of resistances.
I personally have around 10% resistance across all elements in Torment 3 and not having any issues speed clearing thic packs. If this was any other class elemental resistance would be #1 to max or get one tapped.
Despite Blizzards no nerfs philosophy I think this build will be on the chopping block in the coming weeks if not sooner.
Absolutely no chance of that happening… Blizz knows the SB is OP.
they did. what they naively didn’t anticipate is mouse wheel spam or macros.
spiritborn evade with normal spacebar spam isn’t op the slightest.
Before I got the tip to rebind evade to mouse scroll I played by spamming space bar and the only part of the build that suffered was my finger 
Now my finger continues to suffer but it’s just the tip.
They definitely i. Idk if the numbers are right, but they absolutely designed Spiritborn to be OP on release, and won’t be nerfing the class until next season

Don’t they all have free scrolling like logitech? i roll my mouse wheel once and evade like 20x across the screen.
Nope they do not. Mine at least doesn’t.
Buy a mouse with a free-spinning mouse wheel. Bind it to evade and spin it.
If you’re on console, all you can do is QQ.
We need a hold to spam cast or something for this. We don’t all have infiscroll mouse wheels and aren’t going to buy one for one build of one game.
I could easily bind a key to spam repeat a button when I hold it down in logitechs gaming software but I think that violates the ToS like a macro from any other source.
Mouse wheel bind, its so much easier.
I think you are misunderstanding a key piece of the build, that is how it works before you actually have the build working, once you have the staff you just spam evade and thats it
just buy razer keybord and use synapse thats it haha
rebind it to another key that you would like to sacrifice instead of the space.
People keep suggesting rebinding but that doesn’t solve the problem. Are we supposed to use external macros to avoid real life injury now? Fix this Blizzard.
