Eternal Realm, Character now has 0 Attach Power

Not sure whats going on but my Barb was able to solo 100’s now showing 0 attack power. I tried a nm100 to see if it was just a fluke and sure enough I cant even do the trash mobs at the start.

Somethings really screwed up… Help!

I have not checked my other characters yet. Maybe everyones having this problem?

Same for me,but only Double Swing build, did i miss something or is it bugged?

Mines a WW build but I cant do anything… literally standing in town scared to go out lol…

Working as intended, stealth nerf?

No way, I’m literally doing 15K hits down from 300-400… Cant even kill trash mobs right in the door.

There seems to be a bug that Blizz is looking into that lowered stats on Legacy gear. I had 0 attack power when I first loaded my Barb, but it went up after I left town and started attacking.

Just went outside town l ike you did and damage numbers looked normal as well as my attack power showing once again in the character screen. As soon as I went to a NM Dungeon though the damage went to crap compared to in the past. Like Im doing 1/4 of the damage.

Same for me. All my legacy gear seems to be trash. I gave it a try in the Eternal Realm with my S3 build but had to quit after a few minutes. He was so weak.

Maybe I am overreacting. But, considering the efforts I made doing often pretty boring farming to get my valuable items, I am not planning on going back to the game. It feels like I have been tricked, having already lost so much time on it for nothing.

Ya thats super frustrating… Im assuming they will fix it.

Just had a thought. They nerfed the hell out of HOTA Barbs with this patch. Is everyone running that? Maybe its not that the gear stats changed but the skill?

I have a WW Barb, big damage drop…

I’m showing at close to 45k attack power as a Frenzy bard, sure things are harder to kill as the nerfs to damage while berserking has effected me but not to the degree being described. Though I’ve also replaced most of my legacy gear at this point as well.

So I don’t think the issue is build-dependent, but perhaps the legacy gear flagging has gone awry?

Possibly but I’ve swapped drops from helltides in and out of my legacy gear and damage numbers did not improve with any of the new drops. Attack power showed higher but actual damage did not improve.

Yeah I’m expecting damage to stay flat for a little while as Barb multipliers got nerfed (particularly for Blood Rage), hoping to gain some back when I get the right Temper Manual.

Keep in mind that not everything is taken into account with Attack Power (same as back in D3)

Thats kinda my issue with the whole thing. The seasonal update shouldn’t have effected characters on the Eternal realm and it definitely did. I dont like having to re-level so I stay away from seasonal play.

Don’t get me wrong the new helltides and bosses are cool but it really gets on my nerves that now all my gear that was near perfect is now subpar on the realm thats not supposed to happen.

The other thing thats annoying to me is that not only is my gear now subpar but the legendary drops don’t improve my damage at all so until I re-find perfect leg’s and all the tempering/masterworking, it doesn’t even make sense to replace any of the legacy gear. That’s jacked up… Now I’m stuck in an odd spot.

Would have made more sense to leave the old system in place and add the new system to it. Instead, they completely changed the mechanics of the game, the priority stats, etc.

Wouldn’t bug me on a new character because it wouldn’t matter at that point (that’s basically what seasons are for) but on the eternal realm it ticks me off…

The seasonal guys will think that’s funny but, as someone who spent a lot of money in their shop, and like many of the other eternal realm players, it kinda makes me not want to play which is a real bummer becuase I was excited about the improvements they spoke about, just didnt expect them to screw up game play on the eternal realm. It’s probably going to hurt blizzard’s pocket book.

It’s been a bit of a transition period but I’ve been able to get my damage back and more, it’ll definitely take time and certainly would feel better on a new character.

I think what makes it feel bad is that the old upgrade system is more condensed in terms of power-per-upgrade while masterwork is more spread out. Couple that with the increased costs to upgrade gear and it can make it hard to tell if a legendary or unique is even an upgrade.

Hmmm…underly attached barb?

Yes, I agree with you. I spent a good bit of time yesterday and was able to upgrade my weapons and do the masterworking into tier 2, seems a lot better now.

On a new character, I am sure you wouldn’t notice anything. Obnoxious on an existing character though. Some of the items I just got the day before and they were turned to garbage with the patch.

To me it feels like replacing uniques doesnt seem like an upgrade until mid tier masterworking or so. I am starting to see my damage numbers come back though so thats good just took a number of hours to get there.

Tried a NM100 as well and was able to complete it this time but it took forever compared to pre-patch. Also notice almost no drops in comparison to the past.

Seems like NM’s are dead. My best route has been helltides to find gear, bosses to find more tempering manuals, and the pit for materials (obviously). Other than that doesn’t seem like theres much else out there atm.

Im still using legacy gear until i gather enough pit mats obducite ingolith to masterwork.

Also need to first figure out which build to play or just stay hota
