The entire seasonal breakdown is about “Eternal” realm characters. I have not touched anything but hardcore.
Do the Altars, Renown and map discovery that I have unlocked in hardcore carry over to Seasons? Or are hardcore players getting completely shafted and having to completely start everything from scratch?
i’d assume those would carry over for hardcore too.
you need to log in with an alive hardcore character on the 18th to bring over your progress (map+altars of lilith)
if you got everything with one character but that one died, you will have to do everything again tho. so if you have an alive one with everything completed, don’t play that one until that date lmao
That feels weird, as progress with dead hardcore characters carries over to new hardcore ones. Like, a level 1 hardcore has All of my renown and altar buffs from my formerly level 90+ dead…
Works the same but Hardcore and Softcore are seperate.
To start the season with the renown progress automatically collected for Altars and Areas discovered the character that collected them has to be alive and login after 18th July. “Renown progress”.
However, the account-wide “stat bonuses” from Lilith Altars carries over even if the character that collected them has died.
hardcore is literally the same. only thing that makes hardcore different is you only can die once, that’s it. otherwise everything else is identical to how it’s handled on softcore
idk, they said that in their dev live stream and replied that to multiple people on twitter that had hardcore characters that died and asked the same question you had. they admitted that their whole transfering data system is quickly thrown together since they originally planned to have us completely regrind renown
I think Eternal realm has two parts. Eternal SC and Eternal HC.
