Error Code 397006

Cannot get past that error and have no idea what port is not being forwared. Can’t play (Preo-Order) at this time. If someone could shed spme light on this error that would be great. Thank you.

Edit: Forgot to mention that every other Blizzard game runs fine; D2, D3, WoW, etc.

Update: 03/19/2023

The VPN suggestions herein are not a viable option especially since I have allowed Blizzard’s entire Autonomous System (AS57976) -ALL their IP addresses- a complete pass out of my firewall. I will not bring down nor lessen my system security in order to accommodate bugs for a game that are not my issue. Sure, a VPN, no doubt, works but is does raise the question as to whom/where Blizzard is redirecting to. Zero trust there. I have since refunded as I cannot, could not, get past the 2+ hour ques.

Have fun all and be kind to each other.

Thanks to those who chimed in with the same issues.

I am having the same issue, have checked firewall settings and it’s allowing the application to go though so not sure why. Have attempted multiple times and waited through the 90+ minute queues just to get this error when I’m at the front of the line.

I was playing WoW Classic while waiting during the other attempts, but now am trying without that to see if it makes a difference.

I’ve been dealing with the same thing all day. I disabled my firewalls completely, reinstalled the game, rebooted every piece of hardware I can think of. Nothing is solving it.

Same here. Numerous tries, I tried scanning game files, etc. No D4 for me this weekend by the looks of it :frowning:

Same code, been troubleshooting this for hours to no avail. Perhaps requesting a refund will help.

**** SOLUTION ****

update Can confirm that enabling a VPN seems to be a workaround. Hopefully they fix this inconvenience soon.

VPN worked for me as well

My FenrisDebug.txt file is showing ports 54545 - 54548 , 28891 & 1119 need to be open.

For those that are port forwarding that’s what you’ll need to forward.

which vpn are you using?

this solution did not work for me
