The dinky little robot leaves much to be desired but the seasonal quest and story is pretty good IMO.
New minions and the whole vault thing is pretty cool once you actually get into it. The story telling, voice lines and atmospherehas been well implemented.
Traps will most definitely be a love it or hate it situation but for me at least it does add another dimension. Time will tell it the novelty will wear off though.
That all said, it’s still Diablo 4 and the fundamental issues remain…I cannot see my attention being held for even close to three months but it’s no where near as bad as some would have you believe.
I’m not impressed. The campaign has some pretty fun writing, interesting enough characters, and left things open for more.
This is on par with Diablo 3 in my book. Hammy, mustache-twirling demon voices laughing at you from beyond. I can’t care about this loom stuff at all.
Fair enough I just don’t think it’s all bad personally.
I’ve been enjoying the questline. I actually really like the hub of gatehall and where you see vendors they are the automatons there doing the work or at least some.
Currently still unlocking the governing stones for the seneschal and the tuning ones to try out some different synergies with it.
Now with the vaults the Traps some are rather frustrating like knock back, but overall there are plenty of safe spots to stand. I think the early part in the leveling process is that we don’t have as much mobility when later in the game. Due to aspects, evade charges, etc etc.
