Enemy Variety is.......lacking

Okay just wanted to make sure someone was checking in on you.

Because my opinion differs from yours? Booboo.

No, you can say whatever you want to say whenever you like. Just trying to look out for those in need.

Ok, but be reasonable here. They only had ten years to try to get all that done!

And that’s where you stumbled. Start by looking out for yourself, sweetie.

I appreciate and thank you for the advice. Thank you for checking up on me as well. I am glad I could reach out to you as well. Everyone needs that once and awhile in dark times.

You’re welcome sweetie, but the Lilith roleplay is unnecessary.

Well firstly that’s wrong, secondly its pretty eyeroll kind of a comment that you could try and generalize about every single rpg ever.

Thank you again for the advice. Do you need me to reach out again anytime soon? I don’t know if you have a support system in place but I will happily assist anytime. I can also give some referrals or hotlines if you need that instead?

I have a therapy session every Tuesday at 11am. Have done for 2 years. Thank you for your attempt at reaching out though.

Sometimes it’s best to leave a situation while you’re ahead. The fact you’ve tried to manipulate an argument about game into some weird mental health situation says a lot about you than it does me.

Seek help.

Thank you for the advice. I am glad you have a support system - I was worried there for a bit. I appreciate this conversation!

I’ve got a number, so feel free to ask. I’m more than happy to drop it for someone dealing with demons greater than themselves. Don’t feel ashamed.

All my love

Jokes on you. You are coming with us now.

I am finding more variety in Act V, and it is entirely possible that the main quest just doesn’t take you to the most interesting areas on it’s basic route. If I run into more situations like this off the beaten path in the other 4 zones, I will likely have to retract my comment.

I’m in Act 4 now and it doesn’t look so good tbh.

Enemy variety is something that is very important to me in an ARPG because you’ll be seeing the same mobs A LOT during your hundreds of hours of playtime. When I entered Act 2 and saw the same enemy families (and omg did they overdo it with Goats) the game went from a solid 9 to a 7 in my book. I was seriously baffled how - until that point - they managed to do a lot so good and suddenly it all falls apart because you see the same monsters everywhere. Correct me if I’m wrong but D3 felt MUCH more varied at launch.

This. If they got another year of development with monthly open beta tests up until official release, we would prob be playing a much more polished game. This game needs some real TLC development work and polish and extensive player testing.

If the devs came back in April and said we need to delay the game till summer 2024, i would have been very happy with that.

Blizzard has stated that there are monster families. The exact number is… debated. Still, the lowest is 6 and the highest is 14. So, best case scenario, we have 14 different monster classes. However, this means we get Skeleton, Vampires in separate categories as opposed to Undead as one umbrella category.

Well let’s be real here: Blizzard loves to spin stuff like that to make them look better. Case and point: Enemy variety is VERY underwhelming for the forth entry into this series, a game that costs over 70 bucks AND it’s worse than the last entry.
I’d have gladly accepted a little worse graphics for more variety. I’m only 20-25 hours in and I’m already annoyed seeing the same ghost-types and goatpeople EVERYWHERE.
