Did I hear that right? They said certain enemy types would drop gear types more often? Like skeletons might drop crossbows more often than slimy demonlings? And banshees might drop belts more often or something? I havent seen people talking about this, did I misunderstand?

Yes, and crossbows can drop even if you are playing on a barbarian, etc. Which is good for inspiring a motivation to roll on other class.
Yea! It will make it fun to figure out how to get certain uniques and stuff. Seems like something I don’t want to spoil and find all the info data mined on a website. Definitely adds some flavor to hunting for loot!

Also, Fields of Hatred has labeled chests. So, north northwest chest has boots. South chest has gloves, etc. and that means you can try to find stuff AND avoid PvP!!

it’s an interesting tidbit cause it can tip the balance in mob density not meaning absolutely everything depending on what you’re looking for.
This might be a good way to target farm specific Uniques / ect.
I can see people jumping around looking for specific mob sets in duengons to try to complete their builds. (similar to farming specific mobs and tile sets in D3 to push rifts)
They also noted that the extra drop chance was in addition to the normal loot table. So a level 30 skeleton will have the same chance to drop random loot as any other level 30 mob, as well as an additional chance at a crossbow.
So you don’t actively hurt your chances at good drops by doing content with enemy types that have an extra chance at something you don’t need.

We heard players complaining about too much dungeon variety, so we put in a mechanic to encourage you to farm the same dungeon over and over.
Hoping to see bots named correctly with such things as BootFarmer, IR4HatOnly, etc.
