Endgame is boring af, I'm gonna need Starfield early access

Uber Lilith fun? LOL, i’ve only been penetrated so far on that fight.

70-100 is definitely dog water.

I honestly believe in time they will improve the endgame. Ultimately, the question is will players return or already be invested into other games?

I was pretty concerned before release when it was obvious they cut out one of the world tiers after there was originally supposed to be 5. Hopefully they bring that 5th world tier back within the next few seasons.

To be fair, the average person doesnt spend any meaningful time into videogames at all and if they do, then its usually just one game they focus on for years. The average person is the “casual”, one who hops through games, because they have money to buy all the games they want but no time to spend, which is the reason why they flourish in single-player story driven games.

Its futile to make games for these people, they are mainly used for the initial sell. Developers know that most of their games have only a rather low but steady playerbase, only like a small fraction have large playerbases and the majority of them are pure pvp titles. Its actually surprising that Blizzard even went for another Diablo title, because its not a desired move from a financial perspective, doesnt matter how much potential they had unleashed initially. Not only would it never come close to the top videogames right now, it wouldnt even come close to the top mobile games in regard to meaningful revenue.

Yea, I never got that far.

Lmao. By the way, Diablo 4 was right around the corner too. Do you never learn?

Here’s another hyperbole. Keep proving my point. :joy:

I think the game has some good bones. Ill be back when there is endgame and more QoL. I would really love a loot filter.

That’s not hyperbole, I honestly don’t think you know what hyperbole even is. Calling someone a complete loser for playing 300-400 hours of a game that’s only been out for a month is putting it lightly if anything.

Well the game did do over $666 million in just 5 days. Clearly they knew something about how lucrative a dungeon crawler could be in 2023.

I don’t know how people are talking about Diablo IV being boring when Starfield looks like the most mid game releasing in the Fall. They already confirmed that 90% of the worlds won’t even have life on it, so enjoy discount No Man’s Sky, I guess.

Baldur’s Gate 3 looks fire, though.

You want tier 800 gear from the 40s to 60s to make 70+ runs more viable too. They should be more common in that range, and definitely common 70+.

Think about it. Do you think the number stated by players is the actual amount of hours played? Diminishing, categorizing, and framing these players as entirely no-lifers is inaccurate.

You don’t know the circumstances behind their situations. Maybe they took a vacation to play. Maybe they’re seasonal workers. Maybe they’re stay-at-home husbands or wives, and they actually do have real life responsibilities, and they juggle them with play time.

When players provide personal anecdotes, it is valuable and something to rally behind and relate to. This game has been anticipated for a long time, and some people have allocated free time out of their busy schedules to play this game only to be disappointed after “x” hours.

In retrospect, they wish they spent their free time doing something else.

the fundamental game is designed to frustrate the player with very small things. but they all add up after a while.

By far the worst value game purchase ive made in 2023, and 2022. If I wasnt so ticked off at necromancer and how unfun it was to play, and not rerolled a Druid to endgame, Id have only gotten two weeks of play out of this.

I just have zero interest in playing any of my characters since builds are sooooo boring…no interest in any of the content since its so basic and boring. Season? Why? So i can be bored levelling again until i do 2-3 NM dungeons and realize that this is it…this is all there is to D4…

This is nothing more than a console action game with just the possibility to extend gameplay past the story.

Early access to Starfield? You should wait until the modding community releases the unofficial fix, plus you’ll need access to all the setstage console commands to get through half the quests. It’ll be a trainwreck as always. It just works.

People who spend that much time gaming are generally negative people.
Sunlight is actually good for you.
People can get burnt out and not even know it.
More first hand knowledge is good though.

I’m personally outside every day. But I do have first hand knowledge in being a “no-lifer” gamer, as I spent at least 10 of the last 20 years doing this. But who F’n cares? No one really, except a couple close friends and some family members. That being said, I feel better all around after getting out more. I’m not constantly looking at the half empty glass.

I 100% agree. These Blizzard clown fanbois are pretty entertaining.

The whole thing is embarrassing for everyone, myself included.

Can’t wait for BG3 to come out! This game has potential but needs some serious improvements. Maybe by the time I’m tired of playing BG3 they’ll have some of this stuff worked out.

Why don’t you save us an design and publish an arpg yourself?

Not touching that maybe ever, but if i do it’ll be at a steep discount several years down the road. Bethesda is basically black listed, maybe dark grey listed.
