Enchanting... yet another post

I did it to prove a point - whatever it maybe - and cause I’m a bit stupid. I just spent 180M gold rerolling a stat and didn’t get it, yet I get multiple stats repeated 10x in a row… Make this make sense… This enchanting thing is ludacris… RnG is all good, but at some point, how much is enough?

Suggestions to change this and still keep the RnG part on this “amazing” system:

  • Don’t allow a stat to repeat on more than 2, maybe 3 rolls - this would increase the chances of getting the stat we want/need while still needing to gamble. We would get more chances to get that BiS/maxed stat as well.
  • Apply “categories” like tempering, and maybe instead of 2 out of 2, show 3 out of 3 or even 4 out of 4, but shuffle them like I mentioned previously.
  • If nothing else makes sense, at least reduce the cost of this lunacy… With all the gold sink system we have (even though they were improved with today’s patch), it’s still too much. The cost could be reduced by 1/3 and gold would still be important.

Final note 1 - I know, who the hell spends 180M on a reroll, but, it is what it is. I think the majority can agree the system as is is not that good - too much RnG with rerolling stats + tempering + masterworking all together makes this a messy sandwhich imo…

Final note 2 - aside from this debacle, I’m enjoying the season thus far :slight_smile:

Let’s hope it’s a bug, since it’s not listed in the patch notes that they’ve re-added the removed weighted stat rolls through the Occultist.

I tried to roll a +armor on chest piece today, got life per second for 7 times.
