Probably one of the most monotonous parts of upgrading gear right now, aside from finding the right usable gear, is getting the right affix via enchanting. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve clicked ‘Replace Affix’ by accident when I got the correct roll, because I had already done it 100 times before.
Please consider updating to something similar to the tempering update.
It’s the only thing left that consumes mats. It’s fine as is.
They should just make 5 options and the option you already have is impossible to roll. Making it harder to land on the roll you want just makes you sit there spamming the button for longer. There is no “challenge” to overcome.

People spend Way too much time clicking that Dang button to try to get what they need.
Instead of people playing in the world of Sanctuary, they are stuck playing a slot machine of CHANCE at the Occultist.
Enchanting is Lame, Boring, Bland, Illogical, Frustrating, Repetitive, Annoying and every other word that comes to mind that represents my Personal displeasure.

It can consume mats and not be a PITA.
When you want +3 to your desired core skill you know you’re in for it. The rare occasion it rolls fast but most of the time you have to spam the button forever.
Every time I have to enchant my gloves I think oh god! Grab my seatbelt and helmet and get ready for the wild and bumpy ride. It’s comin. The storm.
It’s like people have the attention span of guppies these days.
I’d rather be playing the game than watching paint dry, tbh.

But just take it slow… being in too much of a hurry when doing such things is how mistakes happen.
I learned that the hard way.
Just remove Enchanting and bring back the second Tempered Affix.
That ‘Wild and Bumpy ride’ cost over 3 Million Per Click.
Ride is more expensive then shopping for groceries… ![]()
I proposed a fix for this in that you have 3 additional options.
Pay 50% more and get 3 options.
Pay double for 4 options.
Pay triple for 6 options.
This would greatly help enchanter monotony.
Another option is that you favorite the affix you are going for in the enchanter show me what is possible screen and it auto defaults to that if it appears.
Would be nice to just tell the game what we want and have it just roll continuously until it lands.
We want to fight demons. This isnt real - or interesting - crafting. Just cut the crap and let us get back to the game.
Or maybe go back to when you couldn’t just stand there till you got what you want by uncapping the costs

And this is why d4 is so bad. Sanctification was a nice seasonal mechanic but definitely could be permanent.
Sanctification has to go or gear quality no longer matters. Only quantity does because only the sanctify matters. GAs are laughable when you can hit 100%x crit damage bonus.
PPL talk about D2 having better itemization and here we have sanctification making all itemization meaningless in S11.
Gear quality already doesn’t matter with how watered down loot is and the over abundance of loot raining from the sky.
D2 itemization will always be king. Sadly sanctification made itemization better.
The Mythic outcomes are thankfully just for the season (going by dev comments that they buffed it for Season 11 because the essences don’t really add power). Of course, there are still plenty of cases where an extra Offensive aspect could be better than more GAs, so we’ll see what happens to aspect Sanctifications. Doesn’t seem as clear which aspects will stay or go.
The need to get rid of the weighted RNG. Certain affixes hit quite often while some, usually passives on amulets, rarely hit. Not all affixes have an equal chance to roll and it is obvious. It should not be that hard to get a decent roll close to what you want.
