Enchanting
Enchanting needs to be changed. There is obviously a system to make other affixes have more priority over an other. Due to the amount of possible affixes on different items, there should not be a system that weighs others down.
1. Affixes need to be all equal in chance and none should have a higher chance than another.
2. Greater affixes when enchanted should keep its Greater Affix
if greater affixs are changed, it should cost a lot more gold and mats.
Equal chances for affixes would make the system overall fair. This system would keep the person playing.
Tempering
The System overall is awful, I enjoy being able to temper but… the way everything is makes this system feel so pointless and irritating
1. Temper Manuals for general tempers like crit damage or vulnerable should be accessible to all classes, not just 1
2. Tempering Manuals should be changed, make more manuals to clear up the stats that shouldn’t be there. This would lower the amount of affixes in there and would somewhat lower awful RNG
3. Tempering shouldn’t give you the result same result 5 times, there needs to be a system that will prevent that so the most common one is appearing 24/7 causing the items to brick
4. Allow us to reset the item for a hefty price by sacrificing a bunch of gold and materials OR maybe give us a system like enchanting to pick 1/3 affixes to choose from
5. Giving more Tempering attempts based on how many GA there are can also go a long way
Due to the amount of affixes in one tempering manual, It makes it almost impossible to get what is needed. Some are weighed more heavily than others.
The system wouldn’t be as bad if only loot wasn’t the same for all of the content currently in game. If Greater Affix Items had a better drop rate based on enemy levels past 100, then bricking an item wouldn’t feel as bad. But due to the low drop rate and unrewarding content, people feel like their time isn’t respected. The lack of content and significance of the rewards are multiple factors that cause people to complain.
Before saying anything about this “Making the game too easy.” It’s mainly the lack of content that is the issue.
