Embarrassingly Bad - Reviving Into Instant Freeze and Invincible

I’m in a level 26 NM dungeon. I’ve done plenty of these already. I encounter multiple elites, at least one with freeze and one with suppression (invincibility). I get perma-stunned and die. The game revives me right into the middle of all of them!!! To be instantly frozen and die again!!! Multiple times!!! I finally ran all the way out of the dungeon. They didn’t reset after some distance like they normally do. This was clearly not thought through. Stop cramming so much stuff into a game that you can’t see all of the horrible scenarios it’s going to cause. (I’m playing a sorcerer so I’m too squishy to tank all of this up.)

I had to laugh. It’s so bad it’s embarrassing.

EDIT: LMAO!!! I went in again, and I meet the Butcher! With a huge swarm of slowing flies that are all “increased health!” I can barely move and use all of my health pots just to escape. What is even the point of The Butcher? It’s like ten year old boys got together to try to design a game where they could cram in every annoying mechanic they could think of with absolutely no purpose.

I’ve encountered the death loop before - die, respawn, have elites teleport on top of you, repeat until you get lucky enough to run away :woman_facepalming:

It was the first time I’d seen or even heard of it. With all of the things people have been nitpicking about the game, you’d think a death loop would be at the top somewhere. Do I have to start a thread that I’m going to quit now? :smile:

I’ve had the death loop happen once. I was in a group doing a tier 40 something nmd. I can normally solo these. We all opened a door, went to a big group of mobs and all 4 of us died. Went back, all died again. Went back, I waited outside. One single mob ran out and hit me once. I died. We failed that one. But, I just cannot work out why these mobs were so very powerful.

I had another funny bad death. I was doing the NM type with the bubble that you have to stand in. I went down a slide and waited. And waited. The floating icon didn’t follow me down. I accepted the inevitable. It came down after I died.

I got one with a teleporter that after I died and got sent FAR out of aggro range, it was basically inside me the second I spawned. Seriously, did they not think elites through? Did they not test these? Bad enough enemy cc is so overpowered, now can’t even escape because these “checkpoints”, which go way too far back, open you up to be spawn killed.
